South Orlando Rowing Association is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. Corporate and individual donations help make it possible for SORA to continue serving the Central Florida community by teaching any interested person about the sport we love.
| GENERAL DONATIONS help keep SORA running. Donations earmarked as a general donation are tax deductible and help make it possible to continue growing our operations. | SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS will be utilized for deserving rowers who wish to row but cannot afford to. Our scholarship recipients become SORA leaders both on and off the water. |
| ADAPTIVE ROWING DONATIONSwill allow SORA to reach out to Physically and/or Intellectually Disabled members of the Central Florida Community. Adaptive rowing requires special rowing shells for stability along with other modifications to the standard rowing equipment. | EQUIPMENT DONATIONSare utilized to keep our shells and equipment operational. Standard maintenance is expensive including replacing shoes, hardware and miscellaneous parts of boats, ergs, oars, etc. |
