A 3 time Masters National Champion and 3-time Masters World Champion, Coach Becky began rowing in 1994.
Coach Becky began rowing for OARS in 1994 where she earned a Gold in the USRowing 26 mile Marathon, participated in the prestigious Head of the Charles and won Bronze at the USRowing Youth National Championships all in her Novice year!!
When she graduated in 1997, she joined the US Navy as an Aviation Support Equipment Tech onboard the USS Carl Vinson. She completed her tour of duty in 2002, and attended Jacksonville University where she earned Gold Medals at FIRA’s, SIRA’s Head of the Hooch, and a Silver at Dad Vails.
She received the MVP Leadership Award her senior year and was also selected by the NCAA Student Athlete Committee, to represent all the student athletes of the Atlantic Sun Conference. Since graduating from JU in 2006, with a degree in Exercise Science, she has continued her passion for rowing at the Orlando Rowing Club.
In her 4 years at ORC she has won 2 Gold, 1 silver and 2 Bronze medals at the USRowing Masters National Championships and will be attending her first Masters World Championships September 2010.
She began her coaching career in 2008 as the Men’s Novice Coach at Edgewater High School. She also started the adult rowing program, Edgewater Masters
