Volunteering

Volunteers are crucial for the success of SORA and its athletes. SORA Crew was initally started as a scholastic club sport at Boone High School and is the non-profit that made Boone Crew possible for 25 years!  SORA is now a club rowing program open to ANY student.  We are parent run/operated and a 501c3 charitable organization. We ask that each and every parent do their share. Consider doing a few small jobs or even a bigger job that lasts for the whole season such as an executive board, board or committee chairperson position.

Each fall season is when we host our largest event, the Head of the Giblet Regatta at Turkey Lake Park, this event requires help from all parents and even alumni! There are a variety of ways to volunteer throughout the year.

Please contact our Program Director, Katie Davis-Lednar for more information on how you can support this club, Katie@SORAcrew.com
